Task # 1
Determine the throughput of the MG section with a length of l = (130+2n٭) kilometers and an internal diameter of D = (1250-10n) millimeters. Gas pressure and temperature at the beginning of the section P1 =(6.61 – 0.05 n) MPa and T1 = (282.5 – 0.5 n) K. Pressure at the end of the section P2 = 5.0 MPa.
Ground temperature t0 = (276.75 + 0.25 n). A gas with a relative density of Δ =(0.59 + 0.002 n) is transported. Evaluate the impact of the accuracy of determining the temperature and pressure of gas on the accuracy of determining the flow capacity of the site.

Laboratory work # 1
Investigation of gas flow in the MG section.
Purpose of work. Establish patterns of gas flow through the pipeline.
Work tasks:
1) familiarization with the application programs and characteristics of the experimental site;
2) planning and conducting an experiment to study the pressure distribution along the length of the section. The required accuracy of pressure determination is set by the teacher;
3) processing of experiment results;
4) presentation of experimental results and calculations in the form of graphs of changes in pressure, pressure square, temperature, density and velocity of gas flow along the length of the section;
5) draw conclusions about the nature of the distribution of the studied parameters along the length of the site and about the factors and physical quantities that determine it.
