The public association “L.” of the urban settlement decided to take part in the upcoming elections of deputies of the representative body of the municipal district, which includes this settlement. Six months before the election was called, the necessary amendments were made to the charter of the public association. At the meeting of the board of the public association, the candidacy of the deputy chairman of the board K. was approved as a candidate for deputy. After the board meeting, the association’s activists collected the necessary number of voters´ signatures. Signature sheets together with the minutes of the meeting of the board, K.´s statement of consent to run and other documents were submitted to the district election commission to register K. as a candidate for deputy of the representative body of the municipal district.
