Rising Storm is the next highest release date in the award-winning Red Orchestra franchise. Familiar with great gameplay, innovative features and realistic sound and graphics "RO2" - in the new game "Rising Storm", which tells the story of the Pacific theater of war - with new features, maps, weapons and factions. The player will have the opportunity to visit the islands in the Pacific Ocean in the famous places of battles that took place from 1942 to 1945 between the US Marine Corps and the Coastal Special Forces of the Imperial Japanese Army. Players will engage in coastal assaults, fight in the jungle, take on melee at night, and more - across Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima, Saipan and other iconic battle spots. You can fight for either side - America or Japan - online in multiplayer mode on servers with a maximum of 64 players.

New to the Rising Storm gameplay are asymmetric battles. The Americans have a clear advantage in firepower - with rapid-fire semi-automatic rifles, fully automatic weapons, and a fearsome flamethrower. The advantage of the Japanese is the use of gameplay elements that mimic their courage, ferocity and cunning use of equipment. Hand mortars allow you to fire at the enemy from closed firing positions, being as far away on the map as you like, grenades can be turned into booby-trapped mines for unwary soldiers. The Japanese pay special attention to close combat: they use a bayonet on almost any weapon - even machine guns and submachine guns. Attack shouting "Banzai!" suppresses the enemy, makes it difficult to return fire and makes it possible to close the distance enough to use bayonets and katanas against the enemy.

Morale: The mental state of a soldier plays an unusually large role. A Japanese banzai attack could severely overwhelm the American spirit, making it harder to return fire and allow the former to close their distance.
