Combining action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 promises to be the dramatic horror experience of 2013. Resident Evil favorites Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Ada Wong will be joined by new characters, including Jake Muller, to face a new horror, the highly dangerous C-virus, as the narrative shifts between North America, the war-torn Eastern European nation of Edonia, and the Chinese city of Lanshiang.
Starting with three separate yet intertwining storylines, each with its own pair of protagonists for solo or co-op play, both offline and online, Resident Evil 6 will not only offer different perspectives and gameplay styles, but with the introduction of an innovative crossover mechanic, players can team up and share in the horror. At key moments in the game, up to four players can team up online to solve a specific situation, with traditional partnerships being reversed at certain points to further enhance the gameplay depth.
After players complete the first three campaigns, they will unlock a brand-new campaign starring Resident Evil´s most fatale, Ada Wong. Ada´s single-player campaign features unique missions, gameplay, and weapons that will answer unanswered questions from the first three campaigns.
