As the story begins in Resident Evil Revelations 2, fan favorite Claire Redfield makes a dramatic return. Claire, a survivor of the Raccoon City incident featured in previous Resident Evil games, now works for the anti-bioterrorism organization Terra Save. Moira Burton is attending a Terra Save welcome party when unknown armed forces storm the office. Claire and Moira lose consciousness and later wake up to find themselves in a dark, abandoned detention center. Working together, they must figure out who kidnapped them and for what sinister purpose. Will Claire and Moira make it out alive and discover what led them to be taken to this remote island? The story of unexpected twists and turns will keep players guessing at every turn about the next step.

Heading to a remote prison island in search of his missing daughter, Barry Burton meets an all-new character, Natalia Korda, a little girl with a strange power that allows her to sense enemies and hidden objects. Using this skill along with Barry´s proven fighting abilities, players will have to switch between the two to survive the mysterious island and find Moira. Terrifying enemies lurk around every dark corner, and Barry will have to use his ammo and weapons wisely in classic Survival Horror style.

Expanding on the episodic chapter structure of the original Resident Evil Revelations, Resident Evil Revelations 2 will initially be released as a weekly series of episodic downloads starting on February 24, 2015. Players also have the option to choose either "Full Season" or "Complete Bundle", ensuring fans have access to each episode as it is released, as well as additional bonus content. Each episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 includes Raid mode content and two full-fledged gameplay scenarios, focusing on the previously announced Claire and Moira campaign and the recently confirmed Barry and Natalia storyline.
