Room 301 No. 6 uses blurry boundaries to simulate cognitive disorders that people with Alzheimer´s disease face daily. It combines both the design of the game-racetraint and the characteristics of the disease (the need for strong guidance and support for help from cognition). Moving day after day, you should enter the patient’s psyche with Alzheimer´s disease. You will cross the labyrinths, taking things out with your daughter every day in order to re -survive key memories.
Key features: Separated Perspective: Move through the labyrinth on the left (using WASD) to examine the surrounding world simultaneously shown on the right and study objects in it (interaction is carried out by clicking).
Take the medicine: find [bubbles with pills] and use them to combat cognitive impairment, slightly expanding the field of view.
Gather your collection: every day you will be instructed to find four subjects that are of key importance in your life. Collect them and revive your memories.
Our goal in Room 301 No.6 is to recreate the true experience of patients with Alzheimer´s disease and encourage more of us to use our eyes and really perceive the world around us. With the help of our game, we hope to provide players with the opportunity to look into the world of Alzheimer´s disease and those who should fight this.
