Scorn is an atmospheric first-person horror adventure set in a terrifying, twisted universe.
It is inspired by Heidegger´s idea of "abandonment". You will have to explore interconnected regions of this nightmarish world in complete solitude. The environment will be a full-fledged hero of the game.
In each location, you will find a unique plot, puzzles and characters, but together they will create a single world. Throughout the game, you will discover new areas, learn different skills, search for weapons and items and try to understand everything that is happening.
GAMEPLAY FEATURES
A single "living" world
Scorn takes place in an open world consisting of several regions. Each region is a labyrinth of different rooms and paths between them. The plot develops inside the game, without cutscenes that can distract you from the disgusting reality of the living world around you. But be careful - if you miss something, the game will not spare you.
Full body sensation
Players will be able to truly feel the position of the character´s body in space and its movements. Realistic interaction with the world: objects do not just float in the air, they need to be picked up by hand; to control machines and mechanisms, you need to use their controls, and so on.
Inventory and ammunition management
You can carry only a few items. This also helps to keep the player´s attention throughout the game. You have to think about when to fight, and when it is better to look for cover, and how exactly your actions will affect the world around you. You will have to play in very different ways.
