Sixty-year-old Savelyev worked at Stroymash OJSC as a safety instructor and resigned of his own free will due to his retirement. A month later, he got a job as a watchman in JSC Ural Gems with a three-month probationary period. From the previous place of work in Saveliev’s personal file, there was a medical certificate stating that he suffers from a mild form of epilepsy. A week before the end of the trial period, Savelyev received a written warning from the director of the AO about his dismissal (he could not stand the trial period due to poor health). Saveliev appealed to the court for the protection of his rights.
