Provide the chemical composition of the steel, the required heat treatment, and the resulting structure. Explain the physical nature of steel´s corrosion resistance and the role of each alloying element.
4. Kovar 29NK alloy is used for sealed conductors in glass vacuum devices.
Indicate the alloy´s composition, properties, and the reasons for its use in this area of technology.
