Lead the Mobile Infantry in this real-time strategy game set in the Starship Troopers universe. Balance your army with a variety of unit types, overcome line-of-sight and line-of-fire challenges with tactical positioning, and use special abilities to defeat the arachnid hordes!
<br>The people of the harsh desert planet of Kwallasha need our help. Their peaceful life, working in the mining industry, has been disrupted by a threat they can’t handle alone: arachnids. Under the command of Colonel Hawthorne, the Mobile Infantry will retake control of the planet and crush everything with more than two legs. Take part in this exciting war campaign, meet inspiring characters, visit amazing locations and contribute to the heroic war against the Bugs!
The Arachnids may have virtually unlimited numbers, but they lack the careful tactical preparation that mobile infantry possesses. Place your units in advantageous choke points or on high ground. Be careful, though: combat mechanics like True Line of Sight and True Line of Fire can limit your field of fire and allow the wily Bugs to ambush you.
Optimize your army by choosing from a wide range of specialized unit types, each with their own strengths and weaknesses and a set of unlockable elite abilities. Riflemen can use their shotgun abilities to hold off large numbers of arachnids, bipedal M11 Marauders can unleash a mortar barrage, and the Fleet Liaison can call in reinforcement dropships or airstrikes to wipe out entire ranks of enemies.
The insect infestation is rooted in elaborate underground hives. This presents a unique challenge that requires a delicate balance between aggression and defense. Beware of the many tunnels from which swarms of arachnids can emerge.
To eradicate the insect problem for good, their nests must be destroyed!
