In the fall of 2008, Victoria is sent to Maine, where the body of Ellen Dunnigan has just been found. The mode of action and the video sent to the police and the press leave no doubt about the identity of the killer: The East Coast tormentor has struck again! During the autopsy, no evidence is found as the serial killer washed the body thoroughly. Once again, the killer didn´t make a single mistake. While in her motel room, Victoria stumbles upon a report by Paloma Hernandez, a journalist who covered all the crimes with the East Coast Tormentor´s byline. Hernandez is highly critical of the FBI and Victoria´s lack of progress. This does not stop Hernandez from calling and asking Victoria to meet her later that evening. Hernandez claims she has so-called evidence on the killer. Victoria categorically refuses. A few minutes later, Paloma is kidnapped by the Torturer... Still Life 2 remains true to the spirit of its first installment, but now allows you to play and control two characters connected by the same fate. This time, the goal is to control two heroines, see the game from two complementary perspectives, and experience two different gameplay experiences. Depending on whether you´re playing Paloma Hernandez, the victim being hunted by the killer, or Victoria McPherson, the FBI agent on the hunt for him, you can alternate survival and investigation.
