Streets of Rogue is a lightweight roguelike about choice, freedom and unbridled fun. The game was inspired by fast top-down roguelike games like Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne plus RPGs like Deus Ex with their freedom to experiment and dive into the game´s universe.
The action takes place not in the usual dungeon, but in a living procedurally generated city, where complex AI guides characters from all walks of life who simply live their lives.
To move forward, the player will have to perform various tasks - in any way, using the available skills, items and environment.
• You can play as a soldier who shoots first and asks questions later.
• Or for a secretive doctor who deals with opponents with the help of chloroform and a tranquilizer gun.
• Or for a good-natured bartender who can chat even the most gloomy security guard.
• What about a super-intelligent gorilla who frees his brethren from their cages and puts together a small army?
