Tales of Monkey Island is the fifth part of the famous saga, developed by Telltale Games in collaboration with LucasArts. The game begins several years after the events that unfolded in Escape from Monkey Island, and consists of 5 episodes.
1. The Departure of the Howling Narwhal:
Guybrush Threepwood is back! The mighty Pirate will once again have to rescue his beloved from the clutches of the demon LeChuck. All these years, Guybrush has been sailing the seas and oceans with one goal - he was looking for artifacts necessary to create a voodoo saber, with the help of which he could once and for all put an end to the damned LeChuck. But at the last moment, luck leaves our hero again. Due to the frivolous handling of witchcraft ingredients, he loses everything at once - his ship, his wife and a unique collection of autographed sextants. And the villain LeChuck, instead of dying, suddenly turns into a man!
2. The Siege of Fisherman´s Reef:
In the second episode of our story, the formidable pirate Guybrush escaped from the island, but his hand is still infected, and LeChuck, in human form, is courting Elayne. And it just so happened that at this very moment he would meet a pirate hunter! She is a dexterous and experienced fighter, but Guybrush is no pushover himself. Morgan LeFlay could only cut off her infected hand, after which, thanks to the efforts of our hero, she ended up overboard. It´s a pity, but she damaged the Narwhal´s mast and we will have to dock on the island of Fisherman´s Reef, in the city of mermaids. Here, amidst the fierce confrontation between infected pirates and innocent sea people, the story of the second chapter begins to unfold.
3. Leviathan´s Lair:
Guybrush Threepwood is back! And once again the Mighty Pirate has to save someone. This time, a threat hangs over all the inhabitants of the West Indies, and not in a figurative sense. This is a giant cloud of Le Chuck´s Plague, the spread of which can only be stopped with the help of the magical La Sponge Grande. Having learned the approximate coordinates of the coveted artifact from the sea people, Guybrush sets off on a journey. And if only his ship had not been swallowed by a sea monster along the way...
4. The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood:
Guybrush Threepwood has found himself in trouble again. Only by a miracle does the Mighty Pirate manage to escape a senseless death on the operating table of the Marquis de Sage. And all only to end up in the dock of Debris Island. Now Guybrush is accused of several horrific crimes at once, the main one being the malicious spread of LeChuck´s Plague. Friends turn into enemies, enemies - friends, and only pirates remain pirates.
5. The Appearance of the Pirate God:
Guybrush Threepwood... is dead. Yes, it´s true. LeChuck´s treacherous blade ended the life of the Mighty Pirate. But even death cannot keep Guybrush in one place for long. Now he must return to the world of the living and reunite with his wife before LeChuck finally wins. However, to do this, he will first have to find the spell of return, and this will not be so easy.
