The District is an action game with elements of survival in an open world. You will have to look for weapons, get supplies, hide from the bad weather and get used to the conditions of a new life.

The game takes place in an alternate reality somewhere in the outback of the United States. In the world, the crisis and funding for all spheres of life have been severely curtailed. At the same time, a new virus, unknown to science, is emerging in America. But due to scanty funding, medicine cannot cope with the influx of patients.

Science cannot investigate the virus, so there is a proposal to isolate everyone with suspicion of a new disease. Since there is nothing to support the sick, the government decides to take a desperate step. Sends them to uninhabited lands, on the outskirts of civilization, under the supervision of doctors and a healthy part of the population. The supervision takes place in the form of a reality show. The sick are exiled to uninhabited lands so that they, under the supervision of cameras, having scanty resources, survive.
