The Unliving is a fast-paced rogue-lite action RPG with strategy elements in which you´ll raise the dead, cast a variety of spells, and explore a mystical world rendered in atmospheric and eye-catching pixel art.

CONVERT YOUR ENEMIES INTO YOUR UNDEAD ARMY
Each defeated enemy can be resurrected and replenished with them into your army, creating unlimited legions of undead in size. Resurrected creatures have their own unique abilities. For example, a priest who blessed during life will begin to curse enemies in afterlife.

UNLOCK THE SECRETS OF NECROMANCY
Meet colorful characters, both friendly and hostile. Interrogate members of your sect, force answers from your enemies, and speak with your phylactery companion to piece together the Necromancer´s lost memories and discover the true nature of his immortality. Who knows, maybe you will reveal the dark secrets of the highest hierarchs of the Church

CRUSH EVERYONE IN YOUR WAY
Only a few of the living are helpless victims. The rest are ready to repel the invasion of the dead. They stay in dense groups, have destructive abilities and will fight desperately for their lives. You, the lord of the undead, will need to make this life a living hell to force them to bend the knee.

CONQUER UNCHARTED LANDS
The game world, generously filled with creatures, artifacts, secret rooms and deadly traps, is randomly generated with each new playthrough. Different parts of the world are inhabited by their characteristic inhabitants. Destroy villages and replenish the ranks of your army with the bodies of weak peasants, or go to the swamps and fight to the death with serious opponents.

FIGHT EPIC BOSSES
The powerful creatures of this world of shadows will unleash all their power on you. Each boss has a unique fighting style and set of abilities, and only agility and tactical thinking will allow you to emerge victorious from a brutal battle.
