The Wolf Among Us will be a prequel to the comic book Fables (published by DC Vertigo) and will consist of several parts. In the world of the game and comic book, the characters of famous fairy tales were transferred to gloomy New York, where they had to willy-nilly settle in a harsh human society.
The main character of The Wolf Among Us will be Bigby Wolf (that is, Big Bad Wolf, the classic Evil Gray Wolf from the tales of Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pigs), who is now a seasoned New York detective. Although Wolf wears a human form, inside him lives a bloodthirsty beast, which the detective has to restrain.
