The Desert Empire expansion adds three new factions to Total War: ATTILA and new religious features.
Aksumites, Himyarites and Tanuhids can be used in single and online campaigns, as well as in customizable battles and battles over the network.

All factions from the desert realms have the following features:
+2 to sanitation in all regions

New religious features
Due to the significant impact that religious changes had on culture during this period, the addition of the "Empire of Deserts" includes a number of innovations that increase the importance of religion. Three new religions have been added to the game: Orthodoxy, Judaism and Semitic paganism.

Chains of buildings for two religions
The Aksumites and Himyarites have a chain of buildings for each of the two main religions. They can build these buildings regardless of the religion chosen for their faction. This allows players to exercise more effective control over their faction´s religion and change it according to the situation.

Level 5 Barracks
New Level 5 barracks for each religion are available for Aksumites and Himyarites. To unlock the barracks, a faction must have 75% influence within the respective religion. Barracks provide three unique elite types of troops each, and also unlock a number of campaign bonuses.

Victory conditions and achievements
The factions from the desert kingdoms have two options for victory conditions depending on the main religion, which imply the presence of various types of troops and buildings related to this religion.

Increased diplomatic importance
New religions have increased diplomatic influence, which is why players are forced to carefully choose a religion depending on who they want to ally with.

Chain of profitable buildings
Each faction from the desert realms, which is not a horde, has access to a new chain of production buildings, which brings a lot of income, but reduces the influence of the main religion.

Religious technologies
Each faction from the desert realms, which is not a horde, has a chain of technologies for the main religions. They give a number of bonuses related to religion and the campaign, helping to make and optimize religious choices.

Increased fines for religious discord
For new religions, public order fines have been increased for religious differences in your provinces.

Conditioned religious events (Aksumites and Himyarites)
Two new events have been added that occur when certain religious conditions are met and are accompanied by fascinating dilemmas and missions.

Activation

1. You need to download and install Steam http://steampowered.com/download/SteamInstall.msi (if not already installed)
2. Launch the Steam client
3. Create a new Steam account or log in to an existing one
4. Go to the "Games" section and select "Activate on Steam"
5. Enter the activation key you purchased
6. After that, the game will appear in your list of games and it can be installed
