DESCRIPTION:
The Desert Empires expansion adds three new playable factions and new religious features to Total War: ATTILA.
Axumites, Himyarites and Tanukhids can be used in solo and multiplayer campaigns, as well as in custom and online battles.

New religious features
Due to the significant impact that religious change had on culture during this period, the Desert Empire expansion includes a number of innovations that increase the importance of religion. Three new religions have been added to the game: Orthodoxy, Judaism and Semitic paganism.

Building chains for two religions
The Aksumites and Himyarites have a building chain for each of the two major religions. They can build these buildings regardless of the religion chosen for their faction. This allows players to exercise more effective control over their faction´s religion and change it to suit the situation.

Level 5 Barracks
For the Aksumites and Himyarites, new level 5 barracks are available for each religion. To unlock the barracks, a faction must have 75% influence within the respective religion. Barracks provide three unique elite types of troops each, and also unlock a number of campaign bonuses.

Victory conditions and achievements
Desert kingdoms factions have two variants of victory conditions, depending on the main religion, which imply the presence of different types of troops and buildings related to that religion.

Increased diplomatic importance
New religions have increased diplomatic influence, which forces players to carefully choose their religion based on who they want to ally with.

The chain of profitable buildings
Every non-horde desert realm faction has access to a new production building chain that generates a lot of income, but reduces the influence of the main religion.

Religious technology
Each non-horde desert kingdom faction has a tech chain for the major religions. They provide a range of religion and campaign related bonuses to help make and optimize religious choices.

Increased fines for religious strife
Public order penalties for religious discord in your provinces have been increased for new religions.

Conditioned Religious Events (Aksumites and Himyarites)
Added two new events that occur when certain religious conditions are met and are accompanied by exciting dilemmas and missions.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACTIVATION:
1. Download and install the Steam client - http://steampowered.com/download/SteamInstall.msi (if not already installed)
2. Start it. Create a new account or go to an existing one
3. Select the "Games" section, then "Activate on Steam ..."
4. Enter the activation key you purchased. After that, the game will appear in the library and you can install it
