The desert state culture set adds four new factions to play in Total War: ROME II. The kingdoms of Kush, Saba and Nabatea represent the African-Arabian culture, and the Mashesil tribe has numidian roots.
Representatives of these fractions live in the deserts of Africa and Arabia. The harsh natural conditions tempered them: the warriors of these peoples are persistent, and the unsteady sands help them win the battles.
Despite the similarities of cultures, each of these factions has a unique set of military units, as well as new construction chains and a technology tree that determine its advantages and unique style of play.
In addition to individual characteristics, desert states have common cultural characteristics.
