BO 105 CB-2 is a German multi-purpose and attack helicopter developed by MBB (DASA). He made his first flight in 1967, in total by 2001 more than 1200 helicopters of various modifications had been produced. It is in service with many countries around the world and is widely used in civil aviation. The CB-2 modification differs from others in the ability to install up to 8 TOW missiles.
The BO 105 CB-2 is a small, fast and highly maneuverable helicopter. The maximum speed can reach just over 300 km / h, which is a good indicator. At maximum load, speed and maneuverability are noticeably reduced, but this does not prevent a full-fledged battle. The climb rate of the helicopter is also at a good level and allows you to quickly reach the desired height.
The BO 105 does not have any armor, but it is worth noting the average good survivability of the helicopter. The hull allows it to survive multiple hits from heavy machine guns or even 20mm cannons.
The crew of the helicopter consists of two people - a pilot and a gunner. When the gunner dies, the helicopter loses the ability to fire from suspended weapons, such as ATGMs.
