Watch Dogs: Legion is set in a fictional dystopian London, where the local branch of DedSec is trying to clear its name after being accused of a series of terrorist bombings. DedSec also seeks to free the people of London from the control of Albion, a repressive private military company that turned the city into a state of total surveillance after the bombings[20]. The game introduces a multi-player character system, allowing players to recruit virtually any non-player characters in the open world. Each character has their own unique skills and biography, and can be lost forever if you enable the permanent death option before starting a new game. Depending on the chosen character, there are many ways to complete missions [21]. The development of the game was headed by Ubisoft Toronto studio, and Clint Hawking became the creative director [en][22]. Legion was released on Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Stadia on October 29, 2020; versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S also became available after the release of consoles.
