Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot™ brings virtual reality to the anti-Nazi revolution.

Paris. 1980. You are the best hacker in town. Your mission: to help the French Resistance by taking control of the powerful Nazi war machines. Ram, shoot and burn your way through the City of Love leaving dead Nazis in your wake.

Saddle up, Cyberpilot, you´re one of us now.

Wolfenstein Cyberpilot is a first-person shooter developed by Machine Games and published by Bethesda. This is another spin-off of the Wolfenstein series and takes place between the events of New Colossus and Youngblood. The game takes full advantage of the VR systems available on the market to give the player the opportunity to experience Wolfenstein first hand. In the game, the player is an unnamed hacker working for the resistance in Nazi-occupied France. Their task is to take control of enemy robot soldiers and turn them against their masters.

The core gameplay of Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot remains true to the series´ roots, but has now been moved to virtual reality. Using the left and right hand controls of the VR device, the player causes the mech to move and fire at approaching enemies.

Player-controlled mechs vary and include the familiar Panzerhunds, fire-breathing mechanical dogs, as well as more conventional mechs armed with machine guns and rocket launchers. Gameplay differs depending on the mech the player is controlling - Panzerhunds are faster and more agile, making it much easier to maneuver and flank enemies. The ´Mechs are big and slow, but they can deal a serious blow with the heavy ammunition they carry.

As the Nazi fist tightens its grip on conquered Europe, the French Resistance turns to you, a talented hacker, for help. Use your skills to take control of the Nazi robots and turn the tide of battle in favor of the resistance. Sow confusion in the enemy ranks by setting up your own war machines against them and lead your friends to victory over the Reich and the long-awaited freedom.

The Wolfenstein Cyberpilot E3 trailer was received positively. Critics praised the game´s use of virtual reality platforms, the varied yet easy-to-learn control schemes for various mechs, and the hands-on experience of participating in the world of Wolfenstein.
