In "Worms: Deadly Showdown" combines the best features of Worms 3D and Worms 4: Mayhem - updated three-dimensional graphics, which has not lost its originality, and interesting gameplay features. New features have also appeared in the game.
The single player mode offers over 70 missions and all kinds of competitions, which take place in a wide variety of scenery. Wild West prairies, modern construction sites and even a fabulous eastern city - all these seemingly incompatible places are skillfully linked by an interesting plot, and funny video inserts perfectly complement the story.
In multiplayer with support for up to four participants, five modes are presented. Undoubtedly, the comic war will become much more exciting thanks to the complete destructibility of objects on three-dimensional maps.
Game features:
• A lot of humor. Cartoon worms are famous witches. Listening to their well-aimed and rather cynical comments is a pleasure.
• Friendly war. As before, two to four players can fight online or on one computer. Five multiplayer modes will give you the opportunity to fight according to different rules.
• Worm Olympiad. In between battles, the worms are not averse to arranging funny competitions. Players will experience flights on a turbo gun, sniper shooting and other challenges in which they will gain points. Particularly vain will be able to demonstrate their achievements to the whole world by uploading the best results to the game server.
• Invertebrate personalities. Down with egalitarianism and facelessness! Each fighter can be given a name, unique eyes, voice, and headgear to be "not like everyone else." But the choice will be difficult, because there are more than 150 options.
• Smash-break! Modern technologies have changed the virtual world of worms, now, in the heat of battle, you can destroy everything that is bad or worth it, so that fighting has become even more exciting. Throwing a grenade and admiring the debris of something flying in all directions is just a holiday of some kind!
• Voroshilov arrows. The players´ wishes were heard: now they have a choice: to use the help regarding the direction and force of the shot, or in the old fashioned way - to shoot in the white light like a pretty penny!
•All-seeing eye. The “smart” camera relentlessly follows the fighter, even if he strives to disappear from the field of view, and even at the most appropriate moment switches from one view to another.
• More goodies. The game features everything that is in Worms 3D and Worms 4: Mayhem, and in addition to that there are new trophies. In general, there is something to fight for!
