The Vietnamese war — one of the most ambiguous and long conflicts in the history of the XX century. Having begun as the civil war in the Southern Vietnam, it developed into large-scale opposition in all territory of the country with participation of the U.S. Armed Forces, the USSR and some other the states. A tactical game of the world famous series "In the Back of the Enemy" covers terrible events of that war from the point of view of the Soviet and American soldiers. In a game two subject campaigns, American and North Vietnamese are presented. In the North Vietnamese player it is necessary to operate group of four characters: two Russian instructors saboteurs — the sapper-demolition man who underwent World War II of both the young sniper sent to the territory of the Southern Vietnam for training of soldiers of Viet Cong, and two well trained fighters of the North Vietnamese army — the driver and the translator. As a result of attack of Americans and rangers of army of the Republic of Vietnam the small group appeared in the enemy territory, and now it by all means needs to break through to the. In the American campaign under control of the player there will be a diversionary and prospecting group of five professional American soldiers: commander, machine gunner, sniper, bomber and demolition man. The group will need to execute a number of versatile special tasks: from diversions and participation in rather large battles before rescue by small forces of the American prisoners of war from the camp near Hanoi.
