The Train Simulator Hudson Line route stretches along the east bank of the famous Hudson River from New York to Croton Harmon, New York. York, and has three functions: it´s a busy commuter route on the Hudson Metro-North Line; it is the southern end of the Empire Amtrak Corridor, where Empire Service Amtrak intercity trains and long-distance trains such as the Lake Shore Limited, Maple Leaf, and Adirondack run; and this is CSX´s Hudson division, providing freight service in the Bronx and New York. In history and lore, this line was part of the legendary "Water Level Route" of Central New York and the track of 20th Century Limited. The Hudson Line in Train Simulator includes both of New York´s great stations - Pennsylvania Station and the classic Grand Central Station, and then runs north along the broad Hudson River to Metro-North stores and CSX yards in Croton Harmon, New York. The route also includes Amtrak´s West Side Empire Connection, the Park Avenue Metro-North Main Line from Grand Central Station, the CSX Oak Point Link Freight Route and Harlem River and Oak Point Yards, and a section of Amtrak´s Northeast Corridor from the Bronx over the Gateway.
