NORCO Original Soundtrack is a collaborative release featuring both the game´s music composed by Gewgawly I of Geography of Robots and several new tracks from the Baton Rouge-based sluggcore band Thou. A total of 43 tracks and over 2 hours of music are waiting for you. The driving post-industrial from Gewgawly I not only sets the unforgettable atmosphere of the game and reminds us of the masterpieces of game music of the 80s and 90s, but also represents a chic example of modern experimental music and moves the genre forward. Thou add to the atmosphere of "gloom" with their compositions in the style and drone metal. The band themselves state that they write music "for all fans of alienation, absurdity, boredom, futility, decay, the horrors of history, the vulgarity of change, awareness as agony and mind as disease", and all these themes are reflected in the vibrant and diverse world of NORCO. The key piece of the soundtrack is Goo in a Burning City (fmGew Remix), a remix of the song Thou, recorded by Gewgawly I and sound engineer Geography of Robots under the nickname fmAura, in which the styles preferred by the musicians are bizarrely intertwined.
