At first glance, everything was very simple - stop the mad scientist, free the land and go into the sunset. But sometimes the defeat of one villain only opens the way for even more sinister forces. Incredible adventures continue, and Van Helsing, the famous monster hunter, returns to save the world once again in the company of a charming ghost companion, Lady Katarina. The gothic metropolis of crazy science is on the verge of destruction - the streets plunged into chaos and a new enemy hatches plans for revenge. It´s time to infiltrate the dark side of Borgova and the forbidden wildlands, but beware - you´re not the only one hiding behind the mask.
Key features: Three different classes - in the continuation of the adventure in the style of gothic noir, you can choose one of three very different classes from each other: a classic hunter who wields firearms and melee skills; a thaumaturge who specializes in magical rites; and a sorcerer mechanic, an expert in death traps. All of these classes are included in the base game.
Hunter´s Lair - In the sequel, you can visit the Lair again. This is the perfect place to store collected treasures, trade with NPCs, teleport around the world, create new items, use the alchemy lab, and receive new tasks from allies who have joined the Resistance to fight against impure science.
An extended Tower Defense mini-game where you defend your Lair and other strategically important areas against incoming waves of enemies using traps and several upgradable features to ward off evil. The mechanics of the mini-game has now been improved, and 7 more levels have been added as additional secondary tasks.
Leadership of the Resistance - As the head of the Borgovian Resistance, you will command allied troops, improve the equipment of the Resistance fighters and look for items that will strengthen them.
Fury System - You can charge up to three skill modifiers, called boosts, for 8 active skills. For this, rage points are used, obtained for impressive achievements.
A unique companion, Lady Katarina, a sharp-tongued ghost who comes to Van Helsing´s aid, has her own set of abilities, behaviors, and two skill trees.
Runecrafting - In addition to crafting, enchanting, and infusing items with essences, there is another option to change items to your liking. Artifacts can be disassembled, broken into magical fragments that can be turned into magical runes. These runes, in turn, can be modified and embedded into new items, turning them into various powerful artifacts.
Beast in the Lair - The Chimera is a unique creature. This is an artificial monster straight from the depths of Darkness, whose abilities can be improved over time. It can be sent into battle, as well as into the Darkness to hunt for treasure.
Hall of Trophies - The lair can be decorated with trophies that have an impact on the game world, whether it be strengthening monsters, increasing the magical abilities of all allies, or turning Katarina into a more deadly ghost.
Multiplayer Mode - Face off against friends in PVP mode (8 players) or join forces and go through the story campaign in co-op mode (4 players).
