Director of the joint Russian-Finnish enterprise “Z.” M. decided to run for deputy of the City Duma. An initiative group was formed from among the employees of the enterprise to collect voters´ signatures in support of M.´s candidacy. Members of the group were given two weeks paid leave, after each signature collection was completed, each of them received a bonus in the amount of a monthly official salary. The council of founders of the enterprise allocated M. financial assistance for the election campaign, and also allowed the use of copying and copying equipment of the enterprise for the manufacture of campaign materials.
