Igor Talkov Monologue

About 10 years ago I was first visited by the idea of writing a book, naturally - "on the table," I had no hope of publishing it during my lifetime.
************************************************** **************
This book was to be called "The Epoch of Degeneration". I began to select materials, documents, statements of famous philosophers; by combining all this and passing through myself, I worked out my own conception regarding the era in which we were destined to be born - the era of evil, violence and total degradation.
************************************************** **************
But the unforeseen happened: fate unexpectedly brought my work to the big stage, brought it into contact with huge audiences and provided an opportunity to share my thoughts and feelings with people through songs that were written long before the advent of this opportunity and were written in the process of working on large sites, in cinema, on television.

Additional information

Songs are the shortest way to the heart and mind of a person, but it always seemed to me that I can not speak out in my concerts, so performances on stage grew into rallies, controversies, and sometimes even lectures. For example, in Sverdlovsk in 1988, at one of the concerts, the audience of six thousand who filled the Palace of Sports listened for about an hour and a half as I talked about the 30-year rule of Catherine II, but people waited for me to sing songs, and this expectation knocked me off my mind, hurried , did not give the chance to speak out until the end. It was then that I decided to find an opportunity for full self-expression and the transfer of information to people I own. Such a possibility can only be given by the book, but since the book "The Epoch of Degeneration" should be mostly journalistic in nature, its writing was postponed until better times, especially since now everyone is tired of journalism. "The book must be alive," I thought, "written in the first person, and the more it will be full of examples from my personal life, the situations that take place directly with me, so it will be more alive and interesting."
